Kori Construction, a main contractor based in Corby, Northamptonshire, experienced impressive growth in revenue, with a nearly 56% increase in sales during the 12 months ending on March 31, 2024. “Pre-tax profit soared to £4m, up from £1.5m the previous year, resulting in a profit margin of 10.5% – surpassing the industry average. The company’s net worth also saw a 100% rise as it continues to uphold a dividend strategy focused on bolstering the balance sheet and retaining profits for future growth initiatives.”
Managing Director Jordan Connachie credited the company’s success to robust relationships with clients and subcontractors, as well as the dedicated team. “Our in-depth sector knowledge, coupled with stringent financial controls, allowed us to mitigate risks, especially those stemming from increasing material and labor expenses due to inflationary pressures.” Connachie underscored Kori Construction’s position as the preferred main contractor for purpose-built care homes in the UK, highlighting the completion of five projects totaling 332 beds in the last year and an ongoing construction of 10 projects with 671 beds. The company’s focus remains on the care home sector, as well as the multiroom and retirement living projects, which represented 35% of pre-construction opportunities in the previous financial year.
