Christie & Co, a specialist business property adviser, successfully facilitated the sale of Manns Pharmacy in Carlton, Nottinghamshire. The pharmacy, owned by Gurinder Singh Mann for over 20 years, was recently sold to Leicester-based first-time buyer, Ravi Bansal, through a confidential sales process managed by Carl Steer at Christie & Co. Funding for the purchase was secured with the assistance of Joe Carden at Christie Finance Unsecured.
According to Carl Steer, Director of Pharmacy at Christie & Co, there is a continuing demand in the market for pharmacies priced below £1 million in the Midlands. He emphasized the importance of correct pricing in today’s market. Joe Carden, Senior Finance Consultant at Christie Finance, highlighted the strong lender appetite for first-time pharmacy purchasers, emphasizing the need for detailed information in loan applications to increase the likelihood of approval.
Manns Pharmacy, a standard hours community pharmacy dispensing an average of 2,800 items per month, was sold for an undisclosed price. The successful sale marks another milestone for Mr. Mann, following the sale of his Mapperley branch last year. Overall, the transaction demonstrates the ongoing activity and opportunities present in the pharmacy market.
