Journeo, a provider of information systems and technical services to transport operators and local authorities, has achieved a landmark first half. In a trading update for the six months ending on 30 June 2024 (H1 2024), Journeo experienced robust performance, with total group revenue up 17% to £25.6m and adjusted profit before tax rising by 54% to £2.8m.
Looking forward, revenue for the entire year is expected to reach around £50m, slightly surpassing current market projections, while adjusted profit before tax is anticipated to be £4.8m, exceeding expectations by £0.4m.
Russ Singleton, Chief Executive of Journeo plc, expressed satisfaction with the H1 2024 results and the increase in sales orders, attributing them to the company’s strategy to capitalize on government-backed growth opportunities in the transport sector.
