BID Leicester has recently welcomed two new Company Directors to its board. Paul Brown, Chief Executive of YMCA Leicestershire, and Suraj Madlani, Local Director of Metro Bank, have joined the team.

Paul brings with him more than 30 years of experience in both the public and not-for-profit sectors. During his tenure as Chief Executive of YMCA Leicestershire, Paul has successfully transformed the organization into a model of excellence, particularly in areas such as housing, education, health, sport, and the arts. His leadership has resulted in the implementation of several successful projects and securing over £25 million in funding for the YMCA.

Suraj Madlani, on the other hand, brings a wealth of experience from the banking sector to the BID Leicester Board. With a background in retail banking, mortgages, wealth management, and business banking, Suraj’s expertise will add a new dimension to the board’s strategic planning. His ability to foster positive relationships with stakeholders will support BID Leicester’s mission to drive economic growth and development in Leicester.
