Niyo Group, a collective of EdTech, hair, and beauty disruptive brands, has announced the largest event yet in the tech scene of Birmingham. Niyo Fest, scheduled from 3rd-5th October at Millennium Point, will bring together innovators, investors, industry leaders, and enthusiasts with an expected turnout of around 10,000. The festival will feature an impressive roster of speakers, performers, and sponsors acquired over three days. The festival will also host Niyo Hack, a three-day hackathon with cash prizes and an opportunity to collaborate with industry leaders. This event fuses technology with beauty, fashion, fitness, and culture, to provide attendees with a networking, inspirational, and opportunistic experience in one of the fastest growing tech regions in the UK.
In addition to the speakers, the Niyo Fest will offer sessions designed to impart tools and resources that can improve the technical skills and business acumen of attendees. CEO and founder of Niyo Fest, Oyinkansola Adebayo, emphasizes that the festival is more than just an event, and the strategic design of platform seeks to build a better environment for investment in the national and global female tech economy. With mostly women from underrepresented backgrounds, the festival plans to host 10,000 people in the heart of England’s innovation hub.
