In a recent development, Chloe Hayles, broking manager at Aon professional services firm, has been appointed as the chairperson of The Insurance Institute of Leeds Emerging Insurance Professional (EIP) Committee. The 28-year-old replaces former chairperson Isaac Pollitt after a majority vote from fellow committee members.
The EIP focuses on providing tailored continuous professional development (CPD), networking, and social events for its members under 40 years of age. Chloe’s main responsibility over the next year is to ensure that the EIP continues to cater to Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Leeds members by offering education, career development, networking opportunities, and social events.
Expressing her gratitude for the new role, Chloe Hayles stated: “It’s an honor to have been selected as chairperson of the Emerging Insurance Professionals in Leeds and I am determined to make a positive impact for young professionals within the financial industry. With over 10 years’ experience in the insurance sector, I aim to leverage my expertise to provide members with necessary support and networking opportunities to advance their careers.”
Furthermore, Chloe and the committee have already participated in fundraising activities such as a charity afternoon at Lineham Farm Children’s Charity with more charity, social, and educational events planned for the year ahead. They are enthusiastic about welcoming and supporting both current and new members.
