Croda International, based in Snaith, has named Stephen Oxley as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Executive Director. Oxley, who currently serves as the CFO at Johnson Matthey, will bring his extensive financial expertise to the company by joining from his previous role at KPMG, where he advised global companies for nearly 30 years in various sectors.
Croda Chair, Danuta Gray, expressed her confidence in Oxley’s appointment, stating, “Alongside his strong track record as a PLC Chief Financial Officer incorporating strategic thinking and operational delivery, Stephen brings valuable experience of audit and advisory roles for large, complex international companies across a number of relevant sectors during his time as a Partner at KPMG.”
Anthony Fitzpatrick, President Strategy, Corporate Development & Industrial Specialties, will temporarily take on the role of Interim Chief Financial Officer until Oxley assumes the position on or before 1 April next year.
Gray also praised Fitzpatrick’s understanding of the company, stating, “Anthony Fitzpatrick has a deep understanding of Croda and we are pleased that he has agreed to act as CFO on an interim basis.”
