OakNorth has collaborated with the OMNI Developments SPV to provide a tailored facility for a significant new purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) development in Nottingham. Situated prominently along Radmarsh Road and facing the University of Nottingham’s Jubilee Campus, the new six-storey, 222-bedroom PBSA will feature 148 en-suite rooms and 74 studios. Incorporating a unique six-storey ‘winter garden’, the development will offer various co-working, dining, and entertainment spaces, along with an energy and recycling center to support sustainability efforts.
Leading the project is Andy Roberts, a seasoned professional with over 22 years of experience in property development. As the co-founder of OMNI Developments, Andy has specialized in student accommodation and high-end residential projects nationwide, with a successful track record of delivering over 3,000 student beds. Andy expressed his confidence in the new PBSA development’s appeal to students in Nottingham, highlighting the collaborative efforts with the University and other partners to create a socially and environmentally conscious living space.
Director of Debt Finance at OakNorth, Dale Cowdell, commended Andy’s expertise in designing and developing PBSAs, emphasizing the company’s support for his latest venture. With previous successful projects like Graystacks in Nottingham, Dale looks forward to further collaborations with Andy and the successful completion of this development.
