RTC Group, a Derby-based engineering and technical recruitment group, has reported a rise in revenue and profits for the first half of 2024. “Revenue increased to £49m, up 7.5% compared to the same period in 2023,” with profit before tax growing to £1.2m from £1m.
Chairman and Chief Executive Andy Pendlebury expressed delight at the Group’s continued performance enhancement, building upon the success achieved in 2023. He highlighted ongoing investments in training, headcount expansion, and technology development to drive productivity, improve client offerings, and secure future business opportunities.
The Group’s balance sheet remains strong, with no term debt and no borrowings besides lease liabilities. Pendlebury also touched on the potential impact of a new government and outlined optimism regarding the proposed 10-year infrastructure plan and anticipated improvements in the UK’s macro-economic conditions.
Despite uncertainties in the recruitment sector, RTC Group is optimistic about its short, medium, and long-term prospects.
