Essensys plc has announced the appointment of their new CFO, Greg Price, who is joining the company from Checkit plc. He brings extensive experience in senior finance roles and has worked as CFO at Checkit since 2021 and previously for Cargo Logic Air, Diageo, Monarch, and The AA. His appointment follows Sarah Harvey’s resignation as CFO and a director after less than two years in the role.
Jon Lee, the non-executive chairman, states: “Greg brings a deep understanding of SaaS businesses, digital transformation, and the delivery of customer experience, as well as good knowledge of UK public markets. He will be a fantastic addition to the team, and I am looking forward to working closely with him.”
Essensys expects to be ahead of market expectations for revenue, adjusted EBITDA, and cash for the financial year that ended on 31st July 2024. The group anticipates reporting revenue of £24 million and an adjusted EBITDA loss of not more than £900,000, compared to a £6.1m EBITDA loss in FY23. Cash of £3.1m at year end exceeded expectations, and the group remains debt-free.
In addition, all customers have successfully upgraded to essensys Platform, their pure-play SaaS product, from their legacy product Connect.
