National developer Taj Ubhi, CEO of 9 Property Group, has partnered with commercial real estate buyer Emmanuel Agalamanyi, MBA, of BlackBridge Property Partners to purchase the former Antibo Restaurant in Nottingham City Centre. Led by Emmanuel Agalamanyi, the acquisition of the building will result in its transformation into 51 modern student living spaces by 9 Property Group. This marks the first of several planned acquisitions by the partnership, as they identify distressed sites across the country for redevelopment. Despite its neglect, the building’s historic architecture will be preserved as it undergoes renovation to provide student accommodation. The project, designed by ARC Design Studio, is part of Taj Ubhi’s successful track record in delivering PBSA schemes with the support of finance provider Assetz Capital. Emmanuel Agalamanyi expressed the partnership’s readiness to pursue more opportunities in the student and private rental sector, thanks to their growing equity fund.
