Prologis UK, a leading owner, developer, and investor of logistics property, has successfully leased DC4 Prologis Park Kettering to Mannol, a global lubricant supplier. The 154,452 sq ft unit, located in the prime logistics ‘Golden Triangle’, will support Mannol’s expanding UK operations over the next decade. This strategic location offers excellent connectivity to major transport routes such as the M1, M6, and M11, as well as access to coastal ports and rail hubs for efficient national and international distribution. Mannol joins esteemed brands like CEVA, Argos, and Specsavers at the Park.
Jevgenij Lyzko, CEO of Mannol, expressed, “As our operations continue to expand, we required a larger unit to accommodate our growing needs. Prologis UK was our trusted partner of choice to fulfill this requirement. DC4 Kettering provides a spacious, modern facility with excellent transport links and convenient amenities for our workforce.”
DC4 underwent a comprehensive refurbishment in alignment with Prologis UK’s sustainability commitments, achieving an impressive EPC A rating. The all-electric unit features warehouse LED lighting, sprinklers, and racking, facilitating immediate occupancy. Tom Price, Leasing Director at Prologis UK, emphasized that DC4’s upgrade to match the high quality standards of their current generation buildings was essential to meet customer expectations. The refurbishment also included future-proofing measures, such as the provision of additional EV charging points as necessary.
“We are excited to welcome Mannol to Prologis Park Kettering and witness their continued growth and success in this prime location,” Price added. ILPP and Cushman and Wakefield represented Prologis UK in the lease transaction, while Louch Shacklock acted on behalf of Mannol.
