Lomond has significantly expanded its presence in the East Midlands region by acquiring Acquire Sales and Lettings, marking its 58th acquisition in the area. With a strong performance in the East Midlands property market, including a 15.1% increase in house prices and a 20% rise in rental values over the last three years, Lomond has identified this region as a key focus for its aggressive growth strategy.

Following previous acquisitions in the region, such as Royston and Lund, Centrick, and Tassi Sales and Lettings, the addition of Acquire Sales and Lettings will bring approximately 700 properties under management to Lomond’s John Shepherd brand. Under the guidance of Chief Exec Richard Crathorne, the established business will now operate as part of the John Shepherd brand, with key senior team members including Operations and Property Management Director Chris Blick, Lettings Director Jack Spellman, and Sales Director Katie Ridley playing a crucial role in the brand’s growth plans.

Expressing his excitement for the future, Richard Crathorne stated, “The East Midlands has been a focus area for the expansion of the John Shepherd brand, and our recent acquisitions have set the stage for further growth.” Lomond CEO Ed Phillips also emphasized the importance of the acquisition, noting, “The addition of Acquire Properties further strengthens our presence in the East Midlands region and supports the ongoing growth of our John Shepherd brand.”
