Christie & Co, a specialist business property adviser, successfully sold Hollies Day Nurseries in Nottingham to a major and rapidly expanding group. With over 30 years of establishment, Hollies Day Nurseries is a family-run group comprising five day nurseries located in various areas including Sherwood, Arnold, Mapperley, and West Bridgford.

All locations boast ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted ratings and prioritize the use of natural materials and nature-based play. They incorporate the Reggio approach into their curriculum and offer Forest School sessions led by qualified Forest School educators. The nurseries are all managed by longstanding staff teams, with support from a centralized head office.

Previously owned by Andrew and Becky Pike for 32 years, Hollies Day Nurseries has now been acquired by Kids Planet Day Nurseries, a company with over 200 nurseries nationwide. The Pikes express their confidence in Kids Planet’s ability to continue the legacy they have built, citing shared values and work ethics.

Kids Planet CEO, Clare Roberts, welcomes Hollies into their network, emphasizing the alignment in educational philosophies. The acquisition marks a significant milestone for Kids Planet, with now over 200 nurseries under their management.

Christie & Co representatives, Jassi Sunner and David Eaves, highlight the exceptional quality of Hollies Day Nurseries and commend the Pikes for their dedication to providing top-notch childcare. The competitive sales process reflects the strong demand for high-quality assets in the sector.

The undisclosed sale of Hollies Day Nurseries represents a successful transition for both the Pikes and Kids Planet, paving the way for new opportunities and growth.
