In the first half of 2024, Midlands-based property developer and asset manager, Rotherhill Developments, has successfully acquired several new sites. These acquisitions encompass industrial premises situated in Nottinghamshire, Rugby, King’s Lynn, Barnsley, and Leicestershire, strategically expanding the company’s geographical reach. Of the six sites obtained, five are currently generating income with lease events scheduled in the near to mid-term, presenting Rotherhill with valuable asset management prospects.

Notably, the premises in Rugby are presently unoccupied. To address this, Rotherhill has initiated a build contract exceeding £1m to future-proof the site. Reflecting on the achievements of the first half of the year, owner Paul Bagshaw expressed, “It’s been a dynamic period for us, marked by significant milestones such as recruiting Stuart Waite from Commercial Property Partners and elevating Ed Jeffrey to Director in acknowledgment of his outstanding contributions over the past five years. Additionally, we have successfully acquired six assets totaling approximately £15m in collaboration with our trusted partners and funders.”

These latest acquisitions have broadened Rotherhill’s geographical footprint from King’s Lynn to Yorkshire, aligning with the company’s target lot sizes ranging from £1m to £5m.
