AdTech firm Sparteo is bolstering its UK team and moving its sales director to London as it seeks to accelerate its growth in the market. The Paris-based scaleup has noted an increase in demand from UK publishers for its AI- and data-driven marketing tools, which make it easier for them to maximise efficiency, engagement and revenue across multiple channels. Among its UK clients are Nigella.com, The Race and Kelsey Media Group. Sparteo has seen its revenues rise by 40% since the start of 2023, hitting €20m last year, with plans for 50% growth in 2024.
According to the firm’s chief strategy officer Benjamin Tolman, the adtech sector is evolving at pace, due to increasingly sophisticated technologies, a multifaceted ecosystem and heightened competition. Sparteo’s goal, he stated, is to empower its customers by redefining what’s possible in adtech, driving innovation and sustainability on a global level. With a diverse talent pool and burgeoning customer demand, London was a natural choice for the company’s next European office, said Tolman.
Sparteo’s founders, who also set up Groupe Cerise, a company snapped up by Bertelsmann in a €40m-plus deal in 2017, employ 100 people across four offices including Berlin, Lille, Paris and London.
