ZILO, a FinTech based in London, has appointed Jon Willis as chief operating officer. With 30 years of industry experience in finance and technology sectors, Willis brings deep knowledge of global transfer agency to the company. Prior to joining ZILO, he held positions at HSBC Securities Services as global head of distribution & transfer agency product, and as global head of operations for the same division. Additionally, Willis held leadership roles in operations, control, client service, and commercial at Calastone, BNY, and IFDS. Willis will be part of the executive leadership team.
Phil Goffin, founder and CEO of ZILO, expressed his delight in Willis’ appointment, stating, “Jon will make an immediate impact using his leadership, vision, and strategic planning skills whilst drawing on extensive experience and marketplace knowledge.” The hire of Willis further supports ZILO’s growth objectives and their commitment to clients to enable them to achieve their transformation and efficiency goals.
The announcement of Willis’ appointment follows the news of Zilch’s profitability and revenue of over £100m. Meanwhile, Poppy Gustafsson has stepped down as CEO of Darktrace amid a £4.3bn takeover.
