According to Avison Young’s statistics, flexible workspaces currently predominate in Manchester’s city centre market; finding the right one is the only challenge.

We’ve compiled a list of five excellent coworking spaces to get you started.

Beehive Lofts

Location: Beehive Mill, Jersey Street, Ancoats, Manchester, M4 6JG

Beehive Lofts, founded in 2014, is a coworking space for those working in the technology and creative industries—brands itself as a premium coworking place — presumably for more established small firms.

As the name implies, it is a collection of well-lit lofts with extra-large workstations. It’s more of a location to do tasks. Extra-large height-adjustable desk with the choice of a monitor, desk light, plant, and personalized desk kit. Whereas other coworking spaces lack back support, Beehive Lofts’ swivel chairs are tall, mesh-backed, and completely adjustable.

You will have complete access to a business class A4 printer, copier, and scanner, as well as phone booths, as a member.

Pricing: There are three straightforward price points here.

£320 for one month

Monthly payment of £295 for three months

Monthly payment of £275 for six months

The Sharp Project

Location: Thorp Road, Manchester, M40 5BJ

The Sharp Project is a 200,000-square-foot area dedicated to digital entrepreneurs and production firms focused on content creation, digital media, and television and feature film production. Sharp, an electronics manufacturer, occupies it.

The massive facility is divided into offices and 32 shipping containers. There are currently around 60 enterprises located there.

A sizable portion of this facility, 50,000 square feet, is accessible for television and film production. Work in one of four phases of production or four green screen studios. You’ll have 24-hour access if you’re working late into the night, as well as convenient loading spots for large items and equipment.

Make-up rooms, a wardrobe space, dressing rooms, and a prop shop are all available backstage. Avoid hunger with meals offered upon request in some studios.

There are blue and gold level offices available for more typical office spaces. The gold level has an internal courtyard in the heart and is available for £19.50 per square foot per year, including service fees and business rates.

As is the case with coworking spaces, The Sharp Project regularly hosts events and seminars for its clients.

Single containers are 160 square feet (8ft x 20ft) and cost £65 plus VAT per week; double containers measure 320 square feet (16ft x 20ft). Both come with a single parking place per user.

Blue offices (290 to 4,600 square feet) cost £18.50 per square foot per year.

Gold offices (500 to 1,300 square feet) cost £19.50 per square foot per year.

Huckletree

Location: Express Building, Manchester, M4 5DL

The Huckletree is the newest addition to a series of coworking facilities in England. They are located at four sites in London, one in Dublin and one in Oslo.

Huckletree Manchester has a podcast studio, Imaginarium conference space, and limitless tea, coffee, and water. There’s a weekly wellness program on the social and wellness frontline, music in the lounge, and social activities.

Unlimited: £195 per month, including VAT. Access to the hotdesking zone and breakout areas is unrestricted.

The monthly rent for residents is £300 plus VAT. You get a dedicated desk in an open-plan office, as well as 24/7 access and discussion boards credits.

The monthly rent is £360 plus VAT—access to a studio 24 hours a day, meeting room credits, and a registered postal address.

Meeting rooms are priced between £10 and £40 per hour, including VAT.

Accelerate Places

Location: 101 Princes Street, Manchester, M1 6DD

It was created by Blenheim Chalcot, a digital venture builder. It’s an excellent fit for technology start-ups and scale-ups and creative and digital service providers.

Accelerate Places provides limitless printing and free use of event rooms and meeting spaces to assist you in operating your technology company on a day-to-day basis. With 24-hour access, you may come and go as you choose.

It includes on-site design services that enable you to create warm, custom branding for your team and assist you in resolving your team’s productivity challenge—supported by a bespoke schedule of seminars, meet-ups, and speeches.

Additionally, if you have visitors, they offer a full-service café accessible for business catering.

Take advantage of various offers to familiarise yourself with the neighborhood, including money off gym memberships at The Gym, £5 bowling and 20% off food and drinks at All Star Lanes, and 2-4-1 cocktails at The Alchemist.

Accelerate Places offers two distinct programs.

From £325 + VAT for a private office. For groups of 10 or more players.

£295 + VAT for a Flexi-space. Terms begin at three months – purchase a desk, bank, or partition off your section of the coworking area, which can accommodate teams of up to twenty individuals. Individual workstations, seats, lockable lockers, and access to all business amenities are included.
